Hi, |
2 |
|
3 |
I found a strange thing with unixODBC. |
4 |
|
5 |
When I tried to emerge unixODBC, it started with no problem (v. 2.2.8 |
6 |
or similar :) |
7 |
But, after ten minutes the compiling failed, because sed no found a |
8 |
file, somewhere ./intl/po..... (I don't know the exact message now). |
9 |
|
10 |
When I extract the source code of unixODBC to a directory, and I start |
11 |
compiling by hand, it compiled without no problem. |
12 |
|
13 |
1st case |
14 |
# emerge unixODBC |
15 |
...messages, like: extract 2.2.8 , configure patch 2.2.6 applied |
16 |
(maybe this caused the problem?) |
17 |
sed: cannot open ./intl......... : no such file |
18 |
|
19 |
2nd case |
20 |
extract to a directory |
21 |
# ./configure |
22 |
....done |
23 |
# make |
24 |
....done w/o problem |
25 |
# make install |
26 |
...it will be installed to /usr/local |
27 |
|
28 |
Somebody knows, what is this? |
29 |
|
30 |
Bye, IStván |
