nem tudom, de nálam ilyen gond nem szokott lenni az mplayerrel. imho a
normális ebuildnak jónak kell lennie. Gui-val / gui nélkül is csinálja?
esetleg -vo sdl:x11 -gyel?
esetleg próbáld meg nem ebuildből, hanem cvs-ből fordítani...
