18 As I understand it, this is essentially true. As long as you continue
19 to update your system, it will remain up to a date. However,
20 depending upon your architecture, there may be packages that are
21 masked by profile. I've really only seen this on SPARC systems, but
22 others may pop up as well. For example, the 2.6 kernel is masked in
23 the 2005.1 SPARC profile, but not in the 2006.0 profile. I am still
24 running the 2005.0 on my P4 x86 system, and haven't run into any
25 profile-related issues.
