2	I've emerged tomcat-5.5, and according to this documentation page:
3	http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/java/tomcat-guide.xml, starting the
4	server should initialize $CATALINA_HOME, $CATALINA_BASE and some
5	others. It seems like it doesn't happen/
