24 You may want to check /etc/rc.conf and make sure it is not starting
25 there. I'm assuming you want to boot to the default level but just not
26 wanting the GUI to start. You may want search for softlevel and add
27 that to your boot loader.

29 This sort of depends on why you are doing this and if it is a often used
30 thing or just once in a blue moon. You can create a custom boot level
31 and have a boot line for that, I think you can still do that. Things
32 are changing so much and fast I can't keep up. :/
