Both of these worked with the previous xfce versions. I would be |

tempted to remove the version you installed outside of portage, emerge |

the masked version and you will have a menu editor. Also, the system |

menu will be included that has links to all applications that support |

it. |

You will of course then benefit from portage's version control for when |

The menumaker package I mentioned is useful to create a default menu |

(not just for xfce) even if you don't go down the above path. It will |

require a little manual adjustment to the menu to get it customised |

fully afterwards though. |
