I previously thought that /usr/portage/distfiles |
2 |
only contains tar files. I have not clean up the |
3 |
system, as I'm moving (dupicating some files for my |
4 |
/usr/local/ needs. |
5 |
|
6 |
But I do not remember ever seeing any types of files |
7 |
other than compressed tar files in /distfiles/ |
8 |
|
9 |
Now I have (sampling): |
10 |
|
11 |
*.pathch |
12 |
|
13 |
I thought all patch files where kept in the subdirs where the |
14 |
ebuilds are located (files dir)? It is still where most *.patch |
15 |
files are located. |
16 |
|
17 |
*.exe (like verdan32.exe webdin32.exe ) |
18 |
|
19 |
and many others (here's a sample from /usr/portage/distfiles): |
20 |
|
21 |
scons-2.3.0-user.html |
22 |
scons-2.3.0-user.pdf |
23 |
scrollkeeper-omf.dtd |
24 |
seamonkey-2.26.1-en-GB.xpi |
25 |
rdoc-4.0.1.gem |
26 |
readline62-004 |
27 |
rfc2307bis.schema-20140524 |
28 |
nmap-logo-64.png |
29 |
gobject-introspection-1.40.0.tar.xz._checksum_failure_.146ofr |
30 |
|
31 |
I guess I need "enlightenment" ? |
32 |
Also, in the past I have manually aged/pruned or size/prunded |
33 |
the disfiles dir, but I stopped doing that in the age |
34 |
of 2T+ sized drives....maybe I need to return to cleaning up |
35 |
distfiles/ by hand? |
36 |
|
37 |
|
38 |
curiously, |
39 |
