1 | I have noticed that many people seem to be having issues with vmware |
2 | products. I believe that some of the issues may be related to some |
3 | symbols being removed from the mainline kernel causing modules from |
4 | vmware-modules to not load into the kernel. To fix it you need to enable |
5 | UNUSED_SYMBOLS here 'kernel hacking -> Enable unused/obsolete exported |
6 | symbols'. Hopefully this helps if anyone wants to use 2.6.25.* kernels. |
