memtest uses only 1 CPU, so it doesn't care how many more are |

installed. You could have 4096 CPUs, like the largest IBM mainframes, |

and memtest will still use only 1 of them. |

Note that all memory is accessible from all CPUs, even on a NUMA |

system. This is why memtest does not need to use multiple CPUs. |
