| 1 | Hi all, I am new on this list (and new of Gentoo). |
| 2 | I have some doubts on the setting of the flag USE. |
| 3 | I understood its features but I do not know WHEN use them. |
| 4 | Some questions: |
| 5 | 1 - Is it mandatory to set the Flag USE? |
| 6 | 2 - If not, should I verify which flags to use for each package I want to |
| 7 | install (using the --pretend and --verbose options of emerge) and then set |
| 8 | USE accordingly? |
