Subject: [gentoo-alt] Prefix Bug report: binutils-2.18.50.0.4
Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2008 10:41:51
Message-Id: D7880DE5-9B2C-472F-B8FB-6E19DC281920@strangenoises.org
1 Emerging this in Gentoo Prefix on a Linux i686 box produces the
2 following error. This occurs during the emerge -u system after emerge
3 --sync, during bootstrap.
4
5 (The Linux bootstrap instructions aren't quiet right anyway, so I was
6 half following the OS X ones, which - even on Linux - seemed to be
7 working better. :-) Even so, the nature of this particular failure
8 doesn't seem to make that relevant.)
9
10 The version of patch running is 2.5.9, installed earlier in the
11 bootstrap from sys-devel/patch-2.5.9-r1
