Ok, this seems to be related to the root user having a very strict |

default umask (which makes sense). However, in fact the bootstrap |

script does what it is asked to (respect the umask). Since we're not |

yet into the stage were we (can) support root powered installations, |

this problem is unfortunately an artifact of root usage. |
