No, I haven't used prefix-launcher. If I read the directions on the website correctly, it has to be installed to /usr/local is that correct ? If so, I don't have the ability to do that on my system. I've been applying patches by hand to get around any obstacles I encounter. Kind of a pain, but hopefully once I'm past this I won't have to do it again.... |

Do you use prefix-launcher[1] on aix ? |
27 |
|
28 |
It's higly recommended to use it for aix and hpux, as the bootstrap |
29 |
process used on linux/solaris/mac/freebsd is unlikely to work, because |
30 |
most of the bootstrap packages need some patching, which is not done by |
31 |
bootstrap-prefix.sh. |

Eventually you want to download prefix-launcher-1.1-fetched.tar.bz2. |
35 |
But I must admit that it's unlikely to have your ldap problem fixed. |
