19 My own explorations were in the java area since it is a place that I
20 have a few favourite applications.

22 I was trying to get jedit and jabref working. JEdit compiled in the
23 end but wasn't usable, and jabref has too many dependencies for my
24 limited time right now, including one deep dependency which I just
25 couldn't find at all, dev-java/jpgraph...
