9 From the mail subject it sounds like you are trying to use the normal
10 bootstrap-prefix.sh script. I have had many problems getting prefix to
11 bootstrap using that on certain systems - in particular when compiling
12 python.

14 You can give boostrap-rap a try, the wiki page is at
15 https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Prefix/libc and the bootstrap script at
16 http://dev.gentoo.org/~heroxbd/bootstrap-rap.sh. It compiles its own libc,
17 independent of the host system one, which prevents many issues.
