This may be alignment or something, 0.9.9.9-r1 has lots of patches for |

those things. What version of mhash do you have installed? Python with |

USE=ssl will not require mhash. The thing is necessary for whirlpool |

hashes, which you could try to disable it (metadata/layout.conf) and see |
