7 If sounds like some kind of typo in grub.conf. If you can manually type
8 in the kernel line and the system boots, it has to be something in the
9 grub.conf file.

11 Maybe try deleteing the root and kernel lines, and retyping them (no cut
12 and paste). If that doesn't work, maybe post your grub.conf so we can
