If sounds like some kind of typo in grub.conf. If you can manually type |

in the kernel line and the system boots, it has to be something in the |

grub.conf file. |

Maybe try deleteing the root and kernel lines, and retyping them (no cut |

and paste). If that doesn't work, maybe post your grub.conf so we can |

see it. |
