[gentoo-amd64] disk error [OT]

Hi !

I have started my laptop this morning and at the startup it writes many
lines like

hdc: write_intr: error=0x10 {SectorIdNotFound }, LBAsect=97370035,
high=5, low=13483955, sector=97370035
ide: failed opcode was: unknown
....

/ is then mount in read only

Is my hard disk dead ?

Or could it be another thing ?

How could I test this ?
