I know nothing about matrox, however, even the hd2600 is a much better |

card than the g gforce 6200, let alone previous nvidia models and later |

Sure, but to buy a new motherboard, with a new cpu and a new ram stick |

plus the pcie card is more expensive. If you want the faster you can get |

from agp, then you are gonna pay for it. If not, then you can find cheap |

cards for like 30-50€ or so in the range of the 6200. All of which |

will perfectly run this desktop effects thing. No doubt they'll lag a |

bit with the heavier effects. |
