Well, I did try the x86 version of Knoppix (4.0.2) and X did work from a |

cold boot. |

I did try to find the amd64 version, but had little luck. It looks like |

the amd64 version is based on 2.4 kernel, and none of the bit torrents |

or mirrors I found seemed active any more. I will continue to try and |

find a current version of the amd64 Knoppix :-). |
