20 Well, I did try the x86 version of Knoppix (4.0.2) and X did work from a
21 cold boot.

23 I did try to find the amd64 version, but had little luck. It looks like
24 the amd64 version is based on 2.4 kernel, and none of the bit torrents
25 or mirrors I found seemed active any more. I will continue to try and
26 find a current version of the amd64 Knoppix :-).
