No need to recompile. But note that the suggestion to use quickpkg |

won't work here; you cannot downgrade glibc. Once you upgrade, it |

stays. If you would want to downgrade, you would need to modify the |
19 |
glibc ebuild and do so on your own risk. There's a mechanism in the |
20 |
ebuild preventing downgrades due to the danger of breaking a system |

while downgrading. |
