16 No need to recompile. But note that the suggestion to use quickpkg
17 won't work here; you cannot downgrade glibc. Once you upgrade, it
18 stays. If you would want to downgrade, you would need to modify the
19 glibc ebuild and do so on your own risk. There's a mechanism in the
20 ebuild preventing downgrades due to the danger of breaking a system
21 while downgrading.
