I have a similar problem on my x86 laptop with composite, nvidia, and |

mplayer. I found that when I switch from mplayer from full screen back |

to windowed with xcompmgr running, it basically freezes X session. If I |

kill xcompmgr before running mplayer, it works fine (without |
18 |
transparency). |
