8 I did a bit of research on this the last time it came up. It's a crash
9 catcher library, taking a trace and allowing users to send in a bug
10 report if desired, all wrapped up in a nice GUI presentation. It isn't
11 required and won't affect normal operation.

13 IOW, don't worry about it unless you have enough crashes to justify
14 installing the crash interceptor, since that's its only function.
