I knew this was going to be something simple & stupid. |

I finally went into firefox help itself (instead of googling around to |

no avail) & it says to make sure java is enabled in preferences. |

So I went to preferences & its TURNED OFF! |

Turned it on, now about:plugins shows the jre. |

So setting up symlinks, selecting vm's, all that stuff has no effect |
