22 I knew this was going to be something simple & stupid.
23 I finally went into firefox help itself (instead of googling around to
24 no avail) & it says to make sure java is enabled in preferences.

26 So I went to preferences & its TURNED OFF!
27 Turned it on, now about:plugins shows the jre.
28 Yay!

30 So setting up symlinks, selecting vm's, all that stuff has no effect
31 if java is turned off in the browser itself!
