1 I don't know if this can be of any help to you, but recently dbus was
2 upgraded from version 0.50-r2 to version 0.60-r3.

4 Check your version and do an revdep-rebuild if you recently upgraded.

7 Is dbus running (you can check by doing a /etc/init.d/dbus status)?
8 If not try to run it (/etc/init.d/dbus start) and you should add it to you
9 default runlevel (rc-update add dbus default).
