I have a Tyan motherboard with Intel 82551 ethernet controller on |

board, running am64 kernel. It works with the e100 driver from |

2.6.12-gentoo-r10. When I update my kernel to 2.6.14-gentoo-r2, it |

doesn't. |

When I load the driver, it initializes the card succesfully, but |

dhcpcd cannot get an IP address for the interface. |

Either there is something wrong with the e100 driver, or there is |

something fundamentally wrong with my kernel network configuration. |
