13 For PHP, look at the ebuild, especially its DEPEND variable. It depends
14 on libpng if cjk, exif, truetype, xpm or gd are activated.

16 For openjpeg, the answer seems to be "No" as the dependency is
17 unconditional. There doesn't seem to be a flag in upstream's build
18 system, either.
