Dear amd64 gentoo users,

I've got a problem with arts + alsa wich worked well until I updated my world.
When trying to launch artsd I get this error message:

etienne@a64 ~ $ artsd
unix_connect: can't connect to server
(unix:/tmp/ksocket-etienne/localhost-1cdb-441734e0)
artsd: conf.c:3144: snd_config_iterator_first: Assertion `node->type
== SND_CONFIG_TYPE_COMPOUND' failed.
Abandon
etienne@a64 ~

I thought it was a problem with sockets, so I removed the directory
(and its contents) /tmp/ksocket-etienne (etienne is the user), and the
link ~/.kde/socketxxx

But this did not solved the problem:
etienne@a64 ~/.kde $ artsd
Creating link /home/etienne/.kde/socket-a64.
Created link from "/home/etienne/.kde/socket-a64" to "/tmp/ksocket-etienne"
artsd: conf.c:3144: snd_config_iterator_first: Assertion `node->type
== SND_CONFIG_TYPE_COMPOUND' failed.
Abandon
etienne@a64 ~/.kde $

I've searched in the lists, in the gentoo forum, and finally in
google, but I did not found any result about this error.

Sounds work well with mplayer, but I don't know exactly if this
problem is related to artsd or alsa.
