What follows will not answer your question, but might interest you. I installed both amd64 and x86 on my computer just to compare the performance of both. After a few test (consisting of creating a tar archive of about 3-4 Go) I conclued that a 64-bit architecture is 10% faster than a 32-bit one on the same hardware. Concerning, gentoo amd64, I never had a problem that could not be resolved. The next step for me is to add a TV card. I hope it will work like it ever has ... gh ___________________________________________________________________________ Appel audio GRATUIT partout dans le monde avec le nouveau Yahoo!
