12 Isn't WMV just a container format (like OGG/AVI/etc)? If so, it depends
13 on the codec used. I've had some work on 64-bit xine/mplayer, and some
14 only on 32-bit (since they use binary windows DLLs). Obviously if the
15 codec is closed-source and only available as a 32-bit DLL it won't work
16 in 64-bit land.

18 I'm sure you can create a WMA/Theora/Vorbis file just as you can
19 probably create an OGG/Sorenson file - the former would probably work
20 fine on amd64, and the latter probably would be spotty. It isn't the
21 container that matters as much as the codec...
