15 Hotplug is obviously not creating a device for the adapter - it is
16 probably because the kernel isn't recognizing it. That is likely the
17 result of support not being compiled in, or it being compiled into a
18 module that isn't loaded. Failing that it could be a hotplug issue - we
19 can work around that using mknod to create a device with major,minor
20 188,0. If that works then you have a hotplug issue. However, I think
21 that isn't the most likely problem.
