I wanted to get back to you and say thanks for the pointer. Indeed |

I had no problems after creating a 50MB partition at the front of the |

drive and then a 30GB logical partition in the middle of the drive. |

Win XP installed fine. After doing the commensurate work with grub I |

am dual booting the machine fine. The game (Lord of the Rings - Battle |

for Middle Earth II) seems to work fine with the graphics controller |

in this AMD64 box so everyone is happy. |
