The only time I've had firefox-bin crashing a lot was when I was using |

the blackdown java plugin. Here's what I did... |

I downloaded the latest java jre from sun and put it in /usr/local. |

I made it executable. ( "cd /usr/local" and "chmod +x sun-jdk-version-blah") |

I then ran the file "./sun-jdk-version-blah" |

It created a new directory which I then renamed "java" |
| 10 |
"mv sun-jdk-version-blah java" |
| 11 |
Then I point a symlink from the mozilla plugins directory (which I had |

to make) |
| 13 |
"cd /home/yourname/.mozilla" |
| 14 |
"mkdir plugins" |
| 15 |
"cd plugins" |
| 16 |
"ln -s /usr/local/java/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so ." |

Then kick back and enjoy the java goodness. |
