7 Sadly ntpd would not work in this case, as ntpd can only handle a skew of,
8 IIRC, around 43 seconds per hour.
9 I've just been through something similar with my mac mini, it would lose
10 several minutes an hour. I used adjtimex to alter the TICK value slightly
11 (from 10000 to 10030), so that ntpd could keep up.
