using generic-livecd type, and I've verified catalyst is creating the user |

Also if you do a standard emerge catalyst and ccache and no mucking with |

your /root/.ccache dir. portage will do heavy permission adjusting of the |
| 8 |
bound ccache folder before and after each emerge. This can greatly impact |
| 9 |
stage1 build times even with pkgcache. this is easy to fix with envscript. |
