In my livecd-stage2, I use those settings for the DM: |

livecd/xdm: gdm |

livecd/xsession: gnome |

If i boot it, it works fine till the xdm starting, where complain about missing /usr/bin/xdm. |

In the livecd /etc/rc.conf, there's no DISPLAYMANAGER setting; |

I created the cd using root-overlay entry for /etc/rc.conf (with DISPLAYMANAGER="gdm") and all is fine. |
