17 Just ask in the right place. =) I'd be happy to mentor you. But I don't
18 have as much free time as I used to, so you'll have to be a little
19 flexible when communicating with me.

21 The first step is to prove you deserve to become a developer, by
22 basically doing everything they do except committing: Looking over bugs,
23 reproducing them, fixing them when possible. Instead of committing the
24 fix, you can simply post a patch on the bug for review and committing by
25 a developer.

27 An easy way to start doing this is to add cluster@g.o to your
28 watch list on Bugzilla, and preferably start hanging out on IRC. Much of
29 Gentoo's real-time collaboration happens on IRC, so you miss out on a
30 bit if you can't be there.
