| 1 | I have recently taken lead of the proxy maintainers project with |
| 2 | negotiations with a member of the Council and an active member of the |
| 3 | project. We have written some policies to update practices in light of |
| 4 | the growth of the user base and in particular inactivity of the users. |

| 6 | One in particular pertains to the authority of committing of the |
| 7 | developers on behalf of the proxied user relating to the Github Gentoo |
| 8 | Mirrors. I have committed a few of the patches submitted there now. |
