| 3 | On Aug 1 2012, I will remove 'pms' from cache-formats in |
| 4 | gentoo-x86/metadata/layout.conf - this is to save space and bandwidth |
| 5 | on our wordwide network of mirrors and it is not needed to have two |
| 6 | cache formats after md5-dict has proven fine. If you have any known |
| 7 | concerns with this, please speak up or fix the issue. The dev-portage |
| 8 | team and the infra team have signed off on action item. |
