Hi,

sys-fs/zfs and sys-fs/zfs-kmod are up for grabs. I stopped using ZFS a
while ago for reasons that aren't relevant here.

It requires an active maintainer who watches upstream bug reports and
PRs, and ideally lurks in the various ZFS IRC channels too.

Maintaining all active upstream branches is a good idea, as is not
stabling new versions immediately, and not cleaning up in a hurry.

I'd strongly recommend that whoever takes over adopts Nowa's work [0] to
merge zfs-kmod and zfs into one package. It'll make maintenance simpler
and it follows what we usually do for packages.

I would be willing to take it, but would appreciate another Maintainer 
helping out.

I am using zfs on several machines.
