7 Mandrake does it too. I know this because I've had requests to run the
8 opengl-update symlinks through /etc, and the reporter cited Mandrake. So
9 there's more than one place to look for ideas.

11 Personally I think the current set of *-config tools is poorly
12 organized, but then everybody already knows that since I've written a
13 GLEP on it.

15 Ciaran, if you're interested in pursuing this, you may want to just
16 modify/repurpose my GLEP rather than writing a new one.
