Can we keep CVS in read-only mode please? The conversion of gentoo-x86
(i.e. historical.git) has known problems, like missing categories,
commits wrongly combined, or commits assigned to the wrong author.

The CVS repos are the authoritative source for any sort of historical
research. I would hate if these were gone, unless we had a git
conversion that could be trusted.
