just to make it clear, upstream never said such thing nor are they in |

any way hostile to open source principles (I suppose you wouldn't state |

that if you know subsurface's developers). subsurface is open source but |

that does not mean that its developers have to care about every distro |

or way to distribute it. history has shown for them that it not really |

feasible to do so give the number of active contributes. furthermore |

there were valid reasons for them to 'fork' some of subsurface's deps. |
