1 This distribution is one of those that supports almost anything given you read
2 the docs and have sufficient experience with the type of hardware (and as a
3 part of this installing necessary drivers) you want it run on. This is
4 provided by the distribution not using any fancy installer but instead just
5 dropping you to command prompt as soon as possible.
6 Thus, PLEASE READ *CAREFULLY* INSTALL DOCS and you should have no trouble.
7 Quite a few of SCSI drivers are included on install CD for you to modprobe
8 them. Even if you happen to use really rare/weird hardware which is not
9 included in standard or gentoo kernells you still should be able to install
10 on such system, as long as you can get necessary drivers by whatever means
11 possible (please consult FAQ, alternative install guide + search mail
12 archives in such a situation).
