[gentoo-dev] CVS 1.11.2 bug (#6424)

Hi all. There's a bug in the current version of cvs that prevents it
from working properly with older cvs clients (virtually everybody).

A patch for this problem was proposed in September 2002 and has been 
included in ccvs:

Since then, version 1.11.3 and 1.11.4 have been released. If we
are keeping 1.11.2 for the 1.4 final release, it would be good to
at least include this patch so that it is usable as a server.
