[gentoo-dev] changing directory with start-stop-daemon

Hi,

I have a program that read it's configuration file in the current 
directory and I want this program to be started as a service (IBM's 
RaidAgnt for those who want know).

How can I change the current directory?

I tried putting a "cd <dir>" in the service script but that didn't 
change anything. The program always runs in the filesystem root. And 
since I don't have the source code, I can change its behavior.
