Ok, I have used pdmenu (a lil shell, very nice and configurable) to set up a decent way to isntall gentoo 1.3a on one's system. It's similar to debian's own thing, but it is special in its own way. Users can connect using an IRC client to #gentoo in OPN and ask questions before bootstapping. Also, users are able to read documentation from gentoo.org website. |
