Btw, the reason you can't use ${ARCH} (or any other variable which will |

change depending on the environment) is because portage will be unable |

to compute the digest properly. On the other hand, when you use x86? or |

similar, then portage can "pretend" to be all the arches and USE-flags |

at once, so the digest can be computed. |
