No, symlinking sucks for various reasons. Here are some: |

- filesystem access is slow |
| 14 |
- moving packages from one category to another gets even worse because |
| 15 |
you have to check for deadlinks |

- you have to check for deadlinks anyway because people forget to remove |
| 17 |
them when removing packages |
