1 Could it be, that this problem is hardwaredependend?
2 I also tried it with LiveCD 2004.0 and had the same problem.

4 I tried it on another machine and it worked fine...

6 Is there any Kerneloption I need to activate to get it working???
7 Or any stty flag???
